First Flight of the Year - 2012

02 Jan 2012 11:16 AM | Marshall Henley

January 1st 2012 was a windy start to the New Year.  With a steady cross-wind at 16mph gusting to 26mph+, two brave souls braved the wind while a few watched.  Bob Scheppele won the coin toss and put his Yak-54 in the air.

Shortly after landing, Jim Henke took his Multiplex Fun Cub up for a “fun” flight.  They both flew a couple of flights, packed up and left as winds increased as time passed.
