About SLRCFA

St. Louis Radio Control Flying Association (SLRCFA) is a private flying club located just south of 44 off MO109 in Eureka, Missouri on 11-acres surrounded by the beautiful Meramec River valley (1,200 acres of farmland) in St. Louis County. We are fortunate to fly on one of the finest purpose-built RC sites in the country (click here for field):

  • 42′ by 600′ paved runway, paved taxiways, paved and grass pit
  • Low-mowed grass surrounding runway for grass landings
  • Mowed grass on all 11 acres
  • 24′ by 40′ pavilion
  • Electricity
  • Huge parking lot
  • BBQ pits
  • Fire Pits
  • Restroom
  • NO TREES!!!

We are made up of every type of hobbyist, from 3D aerobatics to jets to FPV to fun-flying foamie fans. What we all share is a commitment to the safe practice of HAVING FUN with radio control aircraft.

An AMA Chartered Club

St Louis RC Flying Association is an Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) Chartered Club. The club offers all the privileges and special benefits accorded to an AMA chartered club. As such any individuals interested in joining SLRCFA must have a valid AMA membership.

Want to learn?

In addition to a premier flying site SLRCFA offers an active training program to encourage newcomers to the sport of radio control flying. The club also provides monthly membership meetings, flying and non flying events such as Swap Meets, a website and a diversity of individuals eager to share their knowledge of and enthusiasm for radio control aero modeling.

The members of the Saint Louis Radio Control Flying Association are continually looking for new ways to make a positive influence.  If you have an idea how SLRCFA can serve our community better whether though education of our hobby, supporting a cause or any other means please contact us.

Community Involvement

As a member of the Eureka Chamber of Commerce, Saint Louis Radio Control Flying Association strives to be involved in the community. The Club participates in the Chamber’s annual Eureka Days event in promotion of the civic, industrial and commercial advancement for the community.

SLRCFA participates in Missouri’s adopt-a-highway program and keeps Augustine Road litter free.

The club donates to local food banks, the American Cancer Society, and organizes an annual fund-raiser for the Marine’s Toys for Tots campaign. SLRCFA works with local Boy Scout and Cub Scout troops by providing the use of our facilities in support of merit badge activities. The Club also supports St Louis University Parks College of Engineering, Aviation and Technology’s SURE –Summer Undergraduate Research Experience by allowing students the use of our facilities.
